We combine music delivery, rights administration, metadata management, royalty accounting, and strategic label services into one streamlined operation designed for today’s evolving music industry.

Our approach connects independent talent with established industry technology and distribution networks. Through our authorized existing partners and industry relationships, including EMPIRE, we help facilitate the delivery and commercial management of music across digital platforms worldwide.

Behind every release is a complex network of technology, licensing, data management, and royalty systems. LRJ DIGITAL works to simplify that process, allowing artists to focus on creating music while we coordinate the operational services that support its release, distribution, and monetization.

Royalty Structure

90% — ARTIST

Artists receive 90% of eligible net distribution receipts from their covered recordings earnings.

10% — LRJ DIGITAL

LRJ DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION retains 10% for distribution administration, release coordination, catalog management, and related services.

$0 UPFRONT DISTRIBUTION FEES

Our distribution infrastructure operate through (DDEX) standards, including (ERN) protocols, secure (APIs), automated delivery systems, and cloud-based technologies. These industry-standard tools help communicate essential release information between distribution networks and participating (DSPs), supporting accurate metadata transmission, content identification, and efficient release management.

Through our authorized technology providers and partners, LRJ DIGITAL can coordinate these services without requiring artists to navigate the technical complexities of digital music delivery themselves.

925five Records is an independent record label that provides approved artists access to LRJ digital music distribution through its existing distribution relationship with EMPIRE.

Metadata management services help organize, verify, and coordinate legally authorized release information, including song titles, performing artists, featured performers, songwriters, producers, copyright ownership, publishing details, and internationally recognized recording identifiers.

ARTIST OWNERSHIP

& CREATIVE CONTROL

100% MASTER OWNERSHIP

Under our standard distribution arrangement, artists retain ownership of their original master recordings. Providing distribution services does not transfer master ownership to 925five Records and/or LRJ DIGITAL.

Artists must own or control the necessary rights to submitted music, including:

Master recordings and compositions
Producer and songwriter permissions
Samples and third-party clearances
Featured artist agreements
Cover artwork and associated materials

DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS

Artist grants Distributor, throughout the applicable agreement term and authorized territories, the rights reasonably necessary to reproduce, encode, deliver, distribute, transmit, make available, promote, identify, monetize, administer, and collect revenues attributable to the submitted recordings and related materials.

Revenue Sharing Partnership

Artist royalty payments become payable once the artist's accumulated eligible net royalty balance reaches or exceeds $250 USD, Such balances shall remain credited to the rightful account holder, subject to applicable contractual deductions, adjustments, and governing law. Subject to the executed Distribution Agreement.

UNPAID ROYALTY BALANCES

Accrual, and Unclaimed Royalties

Unclaimed Royalties and Statutory Distribution: Pursuant to the Music Modernization Act of 2018 and 17 U.S.C. § 115(d)(3)(H)–(J), certain unmatched or unclaimed mechanical royalties administered by the Mechanical Licensing Collective are subject to a statutory minimum holding period of three (3) years before becoming eligible for redistribution to qualifying copyright owners under the applicable market-share distribution framework.

The foregoing statutory provisions do not establish a general three-year forfeiture period for royalties held by LRJ DIGITAL. Any treatment of unpaid, unclaimed, or abandoned royalty balances shall remain subject to contractual obligations, and relevant unclaimed-property requirements. Failure to reach the minimum payment threshold shall not, by itself, constitute forfeiture or abandonment of earned royalties.

HOW ROYALTIES ARE CALCULATED

Eligible net distribution receipts generally represent revenue actually received and credited to 925five Records LRJ DIGITAL from covered recordings, after applicable:

Platform deductions
Taxes
Refunds and chargebacks

Operating in association with 925FIVE RECORDS, an independently operated record label, LRJ DIGITAL provides distribution coordination, rights-management support, royalty reporting, and long-term catalog administration Distribution through LRJ DIGITAL does not establish a direct contract with EMPIRE or guarantee recording agreements, endorsements, financing, or promotional support.

All releases are subject to distributor requirements, platform acceptance.

Monthly accounting does not guarantee monthly payments. Payments are subject to reporting availability, minimum thresholds, applicable deductions, and payment procedures. Agreement governs all royalty calculations, accounting periods, payment obligations, and authorized deductions.
